I. Solving Two-Step Inequalities
Solving multi-step inequalities is the same as solving multi-step equations except for the one important rule previously discussed in the section on solving one-step inequalities. That is, whenever you multiply or divide by a negative number, you must flip the inequality sign so that the statement remains true.
